Use the email from checkout

Stripe sends the first activation link to the checkout email. Use that address to request another link.

Check spam if the message does not arrive. Messages come from support@codexswitch.com. A checkout typo requires support because the recovery form must match the purchase record.

If the old link expired

Request another link above and open the newest message. The link sends the license claim to Codex Switcher on your Mac.

You do not need a website password before purchase or activation. Version 1 checkout is registration-free.

What happens after you request a link

We send a new link when the email matches a completed purchase. The page shows the same confirmation for matching and non-matching addresses.

Open the newest email on the Mac with Codex Switcher installed. The link opens the app and claims the license. Retry once if the email is delayed, then contact support from the purchase email.

Activate Codex Switcher on a new Mac

Install Codex Switcher on the new Mac and request a link with the original checkout email. One purchase covers 2 active Macs.

Removing the app does not free a license slot. Contact support when both slots remain assigned so we can deactivate the old Mac.

If you already use 2 Macs

A Codex Switcher 1.x license supports 2 active Macs. Self-service device management is not available in the first release. Email support from the purchase address and identify the old Mac to remove.

Refunds and billing questions

Request a refund within 14 days from the checkout email. Include an order number if the email does not identify the payment.

If support cannot find the purchase

Send the Stripe receipt email, purchase date, and order reference when available. Never send a card number, Codex password, API key, access token, or browser session data.
